No
subspecies are recognized for the Southeastern Crowned Snake (Crother et al.
2012).
Distribution:
Southeastern Crowned Snakes
are known from scattered localities across Tennessee from
the North Carolina border to the Mississippi River.
Areas in the state where records are noticeably absent include much of
West Tennessee, the southern and northern tier counties (excepting Stewart) of
Middle Tennessee, and most of upper East Tennessee.
